Coconut Pink

Company History

Coconut Pink is the brainchild of Lisa Izirein (nee Oldaker), whose childhood hobby of making earrings for family and friends was the perfect basis for founding a jewellery business.

Lisa has always been creative, with a particular flair for anything detailed and fiddly. She studied fashion design at the University of Central England (now called Birmingham City University) and achieved a First Class Honours degree.

However, after finding that in the fashion industry "it's not what you know but who you know", Lisa turned her attention to developing her skills as a jewellery maker.

Working from her home in Worcestershire, she began selling her range in two local gift shops and held stalls at various craft markets and fairs, as well as organising jewellery parties for friends and family, the latter proving highly successful.

Pleased with the enthusiasm her products had received, she decided to set up a website in order to reach a wider audience. Lisa hopes that Coconut Pink will stand out from other websites, not least because of its bright colour scheme!

The name Coconut Pink and its palm tree logo stem from Lisa's love of all things Caribbean and of the colour pink, not to mention her penchant for Malibu!
